CPU Usage
Depending on your subscription plan, your team has a certain amount of CPU quota that it can use for transcoding jobs.

The CPU usage is calculated based on the number of transcoders and type of transcoders assigned to your jobs.
For example, if you have 10 jobs processing with 2 transcoders 8vCPU each, the CPU usage will be 10x2x8=160 CPUs.
CPU Usage Reservation
New jobs enter the pending state while waiting to be processed. Pending jobs do not reserve CPU capacity and do not count toward your team’s current CPU usage.
When sufficient CPU capacity becomes available, the job starts automatically, its status changes to queued, and its required CPU capacity counts toward your team’s usage.
Pending Job Limits
Each plan limits how many jobs can be pending across all projects in your team.

When this limit is reached, you must wait for a pending job to start or cancel one before submitting another job.
Monitoring CPU Availability
In the App
Open Usage in the top navigation of the Chunkify App to see your team’s current vCPU usage, vCPU limit, and number of pending jobs across all projects. The displayed values refresh while the Usage panel is open.
